Participants

As any other CEN Workshop, the BII workshop is open to all participants who are interested and willing to join. Actually, participation from all stakeholders - both from the public as well as the private sector – is encouraged by the existing members, as a wider audience contributes to robustness of the Workshop results.

Direct participation from end users (private and public sector entities) is a key target; in order to encourage participation, no participation fee from end users is requested.

A participation fee will be asked from national stakeholders (e.g. DIGST, Difi, SFTI, Consip, BME, etc.), national or international organizations, NGOs (e.g. GS1 in Europe) and IT service providers (including vendors). For information about the participation policy and fees, please contact the secretariat or the Vice-Chair for stakeholder coordination.

How to join?

To participate, simply send an email to our secretariat.

Organizations considering to participate in the workshop may have observers attend one workshop meeting before applying for membership. Request for observers should be sent to the secretariat to ensure all relevant documents are made available to such observers.

Active members from other initiatives with whom BII has a formal liaison will be allowed and encouraged to participate in the work of the relevant Task Teams within BII.
